Terms and Conditions

These Referral Program Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Haven Energy Referral Program (the “Program”) offered by Haven Energy (“Haven,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms.


1. Program Overview

The Program allows eligible individuals to refer prospective customers to Haven in exchange for promotional rewards. Specific referral offers, including reward amounts, eligibility criteria, timing, and distribution terms (each an “Offer”), may vary and may be modified, suspended, or terminated at any time at Haven’s sole discretion.

Current Offer details, if any, will be described on the applicable promotional page or communication.


2. Eligibility

  • The Program is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old and legally eligible to participate.

  • Participants do not need to be current Haven customers unless otherwise specified in a specific Offer.

  • Employees of Haven and its affiliates may be excluded from participation at Haven’s discretion.

  • The Program is void where prohibited by law.


3. Qualified Referrals

A “Qualified Referral” is a referred individual who:

  1. Is a new prospective customer who has not previously submitted their information to Haven;

  2. Submits their information through an official Haven referral channel (Referral Rock) and is properly attributed to the referring participant;

  3. Meets any additional criteria specified in the applicable Offer; and

  4. Completes any required milestones defined in the applicable Offer (which may include, but are not limited to, signing a contract, installation completion, system activation, funding approval, rebate approval, payment receipt, or other defined stages in Haven’s sales or installation process).

Haven reserves sole discretion to determine whether a referral qualifies under any Offer.

Self-referrals, duplicate referrals, referrals generated through automated means, referrals not generated through an official Haven referral channel (Referral Rock), or referrals that violate any applicable law or Haven policy are not eligible.


4. Referral Rewards

4.1 Reward Structure

Reward details — including but not limited to:

  • Reward amount

  • Type of reward (cash, gift card, account credit, promotional credit, or other incentive)

  • Timing of payment

  • Funnel milestone required

  • Whether the reward is paid to the referrer, the referred customer, or both

— may vary by Offer and are subject to change at any time.

Haven may run limited-time promotional Offers that supersede standard reward terms.

4.2 Reward Conditions

Rewards are earned only when all conditions of the applicable Offer are satisfied. If a referred customer cancels, is deemed ineligible, fails to qualify for financing or rebates, fails to complete installation, or otherwise does not meet Offer criteria, no reward will be owed.

Haven reserves the right to:

  • Delay reward issuance pending verification

  • Withhold rewards in cases of suspected fraud or non-compliance

  • Reverse or void rewards issued in error

4.3 Payment and Delivery

Rewards will be distributed in the manner specified in the applicable Offer and may be delivered electronically, by mail, or by other means determined by Haven.

Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact and payment information.


5. Taxes

Participants are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with rewards received. 


6. Program Changes and Termination

Haven reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or any Offer at any time, with or without notice.

Changes or new Offers will not retroactively alter the applicable Offer in effect at the time a referral was submitted to Haven; however, all referrals remain subject to verification and must satisfy the eligibility requirements and conditions of the applicable Offer in order to receive any reward.


7. Fraud and Abuse

Any attempt to manipulate, abuse, or undermine the integrity of the Program may result in:

  • Immediate disqualification

  • Forfeiture of rewards

  • Removal from future participation

  • Legal action where applicable

Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

  • Self-referrals

  • Fake, misleading, or spam referrals

  • Creating multiple accounts

  • Misrepresenting Haven’s services or offers

  • Violating any applicable law or regulation

Haven retains sole discretion in determining fraudulent or abusive conduct.


8. Marketing and Compliance

Participants must not represent themselves as employees, agents, or official representatives of Haven. Participants may not make claims, guarantees, or representations about Haven’s services, rebates, incentives, or financing that are inconsistent with official Haven communications.

All referrals must comply with applicable federal and state laws, including but not limited to consumer protection and anti-spam laws.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haven shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to participation in the Program.

Haven makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Program or any rewards.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.


11. Acceptance of Terms

Participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not participate in the Program.
